To start
Once again, welcome. There are many webpages on the net related to ADD/ADHD. Hopefully, you'll find the content on this website to be of quality and reflection. This website is more personal since I will offer my experiences. I hope that you feel comfortable to share your instances as well. As someone with dyslexia (commonly associated with other disorders) and ADD I offer insights. Please note that I recognize with ADD not ADHD. There is a huge difference! A person with ADD is more difficult to diagnosis than ADHD, since the hyperactivity, while possibly mild or subtle, is not difficult to miss! A Diagnoses does not always happen quickly.
Finally
Many people have gone through many years of their life before "that large break through" experience, in which, a condition, unidentified becomes highlighted. The defining moment came from years of experiences and hard work. Through reflection and remembrance of suspicion of ADHD/ADD during high school, a change was made for the better. Treatment occurred. The defining moments of ADD during my lifetime regarded an inablity to sit beyond one hour, restless leg syndrome, a lower GPA despite quick wits and daily activities constantly in line with minimal attention requirements. Also of mention, are assessment scores!
