Introduction

Welcome to my website. I am a cultural anthropologist and a specialist in Chinese popular culture and media studies. As an anthropologist, I am interested in general theoretical questions about the human conditions (labor, work, and intellect) and situated practices. My work is based on a wide range of disciplines in humanities and social sciences. My research and teaching focus on such major themes as (neoliberal) globalization, (reflexive) modernity, and (universal) justice and equality.
