Travel

Out of town participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Tucson. If you are an invited paper giver or discussant, your non-refundable coach air-fare will be reimbursed immediately after the conference. You will be asked to fill out the requisite forms for reimbursement when you are on-site for the conference.

Please keep all of your travel receipts. These will need to be provided in order to receive your reimbursement. Consistent with our funding allotment from the NSF, we will reimburse ground transportation expenses insofar as we are able to do so. This will include mileage and parking expenses for participants coming from Arizona State University, and it will include ground transportation to and from airports for other out-of-towners. Such reimbursements will be made on an equitable basis.

Lodging

The conference hotel is Westward Look Resort, 245 E. Ina Road, Tucson, 85704. We invite you to visit the resort web-site to view accommodations and all of the on-site indoor and outdoor amenities.

If you are an invited paper presenter or discussant, the cost of your accommodations for Thursday night, April 21, Friday night, April 22, and Saturday night, April 23, will be direct billed to our conference account. You will be responsible for incidentals. If you wish to arrive earlier than April 21 or check out later than April 24, you will be responsible for those additional days. Similarly, if you book additional rooms for family members or other guests, you will be responsible for the cost of those additional rooms.

Meals

Meals, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided for conference participants. There will be continental breakfast and lunches provided on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at the conference venue in the James E. Rogers College of Law, University of Arizona. In addition, there will be two catered conference dinners at sites to be announced. If you are an invited paper giver or discussant and you will be traveling with spouses, partners or children, they –as well as you – are cordially invited to participate in conference dinners and socializing.

For your convenience, there also are food options available at Westward Look. These include the Lookout Bar and Grill and Gold. Full breakfasts are available at Gold. Likewise, there are children’s menus available.
