EXPERIMENTAL ANIMATED
POETRY
This new site will house my "Versuche" at writing a
truly animated set of poems.
The basics are these: for these poems, you will need the
.exe file and 10 .spr files.
You will need a the .spr files because these are those charming
moving figures that you can see in many video games.
NOTE: Put all the files below into your a:\ drive on a disk
and from the A drive prompt, type: butrf1a (speed reduced for FAST computers)
Voila! That should do it. You know where to come and get
me if it doesn't work... ;).
CREDITS: My sincerest thanks to the Ayres Blast! Library for page
flipping and other animation helpers, and to Phillippe Detourney for
sprite routines and help with paths.
Here are the files for Percy Bysshe Shelley's "Hymn to
Intellectual Beauty".
