Greg's EAZY E-mail conversion Guide and Quick Links
The University is changing over the campus email system. This requires ALL campus email users to "migrate" to the new system. Below are 3 easy steps ...
You should clean out (delete) as much old email as you can before you begin.
After Step 2 there is no going back. When this step is finished (20 min. to 20 hrs. depending on load and how much cleaning you did) you will be on the NEW system.
- Step 1. Check the strength of your NetID password at the UAConnect Password Test Page
- Step 2. Start the migration process at the UAConnect Activation Page
- Step 3. Connect to UAConnect.arizona.edu and check your mail. This WEB site works BEST with MS Internet Explorer
Your login is now your FULL email address:
email_account@email.arizona.edu mine is ghorner@email.arizona.edu NO more just ghorner
Now that GroupWise is gone ...?
- If you really want to use your personal Outlook client at home, then please read the UAConnect guides and download & install "MS Online Services Sign-In Client" for Windows or MAC
- My 2 cents - just use Outlook Web Access at UAConnect.arizona.edu from home with ANY browser
University of Arizona Listserv - myQuick Links
- Create a new List at List Request
- BTW: the list name should be SU-whatever and I should be the Quiet owner. for example: SU-Bakery not Bakery
- Online List Management for List Owners
- UA Listserv Homepage for general Listserv information and links
Here's a quick guide to the U of A Computer Based Training resource for "Microsoft Outlook 2007"
- Start at the UACBT page
- after reading the whole page, go back up near the top and click on the "Login to VTC" button" (NetID needed here)
- after the NetID login, on the VTC Welcome page, mouse over/highlight "Tutorials", "Select a Category", and click on "Business Applications"
- scroll down to "Microsoft Outlook 2007" and click on it
- that's it! choose Quicktime or Flash, and begin ...
You can Call the 24/7 IT Support Center at (520) 626-TECH (8324) with questions on UAConnect, Outlook, or the UACBT
