Steward Observatory Mirror Lab (SOML), got the CMM in November of 2001. It has increased the metrology capabilities tremendously, as well as decreasing the turnaround time in testing. Its mainstay is its ability to dynamicly scan any surface, which is very useful in characterizing aspheric optics.Each Project has pictures, data, prints, analysis, and CMM relevent info like macros and reference systems.
