Personal

I am science education researcher in the College of Education at The University of Arizona, where I got my Ph.D. in Teaching and Teacher Education with a minor in Educational Psychology. My research focuses on understanding the teaching and learning of astronomy in tertiary education, and I work closely with Steward Observatory, the department of astronomy. I previously studied astronomy at the Kapteyn Institute of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
