Daniel R. Sanderman |
About Me: |
I am originally from Portland, Oregon. I received my undergraduate degree from Lewis & Clark College, where I earned a BA, double-majoring in Philosophy (with Honors) and English. I am currently in my third year of graduate studies at the University of Arizona. |
Philosophical Interests: |
My primary interests lie in Ancient Philosophy, particularly the early dialogues of Plato, Plato's Republic, and the Presocratics. I am currently working on Socratic/Platonic moral psychology and the use of irony and mockery in the dialogues. |
My other philosophical interests are numerous and still being formulated. While I have a general interest in the history of philosophy, I also enjoy epistemology, metaphysics, ethics, and philosophy of religion. |
