ENTRY-LEVEL AND INTERN POSITIONS

The Self-Employed Agency (SEA) Division is seeking college graduates for entry-level actuarial positions in the North Richland Hills, TX office. The SEA Division is also offering intern opportunities. The SEA Division is responsible for the medical, life, dental and vision products marketed to the self-employed marketplace and currently generates approximately $500 million in revenue annually.

The ideal entry-level candidate will have:





A degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Finance or related field; A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 (4.0 point scale); Successful completion of at least SOA exam 100 or 110; A commitment to progressing through the actuarial exams; Strong organizational and analytical skills; Ability to work independently or as part of a team; and Strong written and oral communication skills.







Intern candidates should meet the above criteria with an anticipated graduation date of December 1999 or May 2000.

ACTUARIAL STUDENT PROGRAM

UICI strongly encourages professional actuarial growth through job rotation and financial support of students pursuing the Society of Actuaries' examinations.

We support our program participants by providing study time during work hours, paying SOA exam fees, purchasing study materials, and subsidizing various actuarial exam preparation seminars.
