I work with web-based content and project management packages including Drupal, LAMP web server technology (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP); Databases; Metadata, Harvesting & information organization standards including controlled vocabularies and thesauri; HTML, forms, and portals; traffic analytics and search engine submission.
Writing skills including technical, persuasive, creative, and academic writing, grantsmanship, and social networking. Web-based learning objects created include interactive tutorials in screencast, online subject guides, interactive digital lesson plans; prezis, and video presentations. Close familiarity with the D2L Learning Managment System.
Engaged in a variety of individual and collaborative projects in person and online, including approaches toward a Consumer Breast Cancer Virtual Research Environment; hands-on math and science education through the use of educational blocks and youth robotics with the UA College of Engineering; and research toward online educational programs for the university of arizona.
Provide research, instructional, and technological assistance to Faculty at the School of Information Resources and Library Science, and the the Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Institute.

Taught English to elementary school and junior high school students Kochi, Japan for one school year (2005 - 2006) as part of this selective team of teachers from English-speaking nations. Outside of the year in Japan, I taught on a substitute basis for all grades K-12 in the Tucson Unified School District.
Created and maintained free or low-cost websites for Tucson enterprises and projects in conjunction with Pima Community College studies. Volunteer projects included the Arizona Yoga Association and Desert Harvesters.
