Do we Introspect our Confidence?
In this paper I consider the case - empirical and armchair - for introspective access to attitude strength. Ultimately, I argue that there is a good case to be made for such access.

The Empirical Status of Gauge Symmetries
In this paper I argue that symmetries should be always be taken to indicate a looseness in fit between theory and reality rather than a genuine symmetry of nature. Thus, gauge symmetries cannot be observed directly, but neither can other symmetries that have been assumed (e.g. spatiotemporal).
At this point in time I have some reservations about the broader claim of this paper (i.e. that no symmteries can be observed directly).

Two Paths to Structural Realism
This is a first pass of some thoughts on structural realism in science. The basic idea is that the two main motivations for SR - allowing for progess through theory change and avoiding ontological underdetermination - point to a common understanding of SR. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out the best way to charactorize this understanding and so I end this paper without a concrete proposal.
I'm currently thinking about how exactly to fill-out the sketch presented here.

Lessons from Quantum Sleeping Beauty
Here I argue that there is a connection between the Everettian interpretation of quantum mechanics and the Sleeping Beauty problem (as several recent authors have claimed), but far from being problematic (as some have proposed), the connections is a fruitful one. The solution to SB, when applied to the (Everettian) quantum version of SB (QSB), provides a promising proposal for solving the probability problem in EQM.
