Welcome to my homepage! I am a clinical and adjunct assistant professor with the University of Arizona in the College of Education's Department of Teaching & Teacher Education on loan from the Marana Unified School District. I have worked in various teaching capacities since 1990 and have been a public school teacher in Arizona since 2000, when I moved from Illinois, my home state. My pre-K-12 teaching experience includes being a classroom teacher for Pre-K, first, and fifth grades and being a music teacher for grades 1-6. I have also taught music, dance, and tumbling in the private sector. My post-secondary teaching experience includes courses in child development, adolescent development, education research, social studies teaching methods, and student teacher supervision at the University of Illinois and the University of Arizona. In terms of post-secondary education, I hold an A.A. in anthropology from Lincoln Land Community College, a B.A. in ethnomusicology and a B.A. in anthropology from the University of Illinois, an M.A. in educational psychology from the University of Illiinois, and a Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Illinois.
