I live in Tucson with my husband,
two sons, and 15 animals--2 dogs,
5 cats, 3 turtles, 2 tortoises, 2 geckos, and a frog.
My favorite hobby is reading mystery novels, and my favorite bookstore
is Clues Unlimited.
I'm also an aspiring mystery writer and a member of
Sisters in Crime.
Caring for my family, doing an internship at Pima
Community College,
and working as a graduate student on the reference desk at UA
Main Library
all help keep me busy.
This is my last semester at SIRLS,
as I'm planning to graduate this May.
After graduation, I'd like to work as a community college librarian.
I'm taking this class because I enjoy academic librarianship
and
realize the importance of bibliographic instruction in the academic setting.
This semester I'm enjoying my terms as SLA
president and fundraising
co-coordinator of LSO.
I also was part of the group who painted "A"
Mountain red, white, and
blue, and had blue fingernails for weeks to prove it!
