Instructors can use this calculator to compute the numeric average (on a 4-point system) of their current or historical grading. Numbers as high as 9999 can be entered in the first column. Students can also use it to determine their current or cumulative GPAs by entering the number of credit hours or units instead of the number of grades in the first column. The calculator will accept letter grades A through F (including E, used instead of F at the UA) and plus or minus grades (not used at the UA).
