has recently become a more popular topic of research among the I/O Psychology
community. These theories enable one to understand the configuration, capacity,
and function of organizations. Additionally, these theories highlight the
characteristics and attributes that allow an organization as a whole to
function in the manner that they do. Some of the characteristics described
in this web site are simple designs of organizational charts, social interaction
of employers and their employees, and even theories based on human assumption.
The following four theories will provide you with a foundation to understanding
the working infrastructure of different organizations. This web site has
