Bureaucracy Theory


The bureaucracy theory is an old theory originally designed by Max Weber in the 1800’s and later applied to help create effective techniques to structure and manage large organizations. Webers objective with the Bureaucracy theory was simply to design a structure for an organization to help maximize efficiency and productivity. This theory employs four specific characteristics that are the foundation for effective organizations.
