Notes and Troubleshooting

1. You must have Authorware Web Player correctly installed in your browser. If you do not have the Authorware Web Player installed or aren't sure whether you may have it, click on the AUTOINSTALL NOW button on the right.

2. All browsers: You must hold down the CTRL key then click on the link. Release the CTRL key when you get the Authorware Web Player Security panel. You may have to experiment to get this to work. Click on OK on the security panel. You must allow the courseware to make changes to your hard drive. Although the courseware does not make any changes to your computer, you must click OK on the security panel in order for the online version to work.

3. IF THE COURSEWARE WINDOW IS NOT CENTERED ON YOUR SCREEN, USE THE FULL SCREEN OPTION OF YOUR BROWSER.

4. If you are asked to save *.aam file or get some lines of computer codes after clicking on a link, you either do not have Authorware Web Player or it is not installed correctly or you need to clear your browser cache. To clear the cache in Netscape 4.7, go to Edit -> Preferences. Double click on Advanced, select cache and then click on Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache.
