Incidentally, there's never been a better time to buy a Mac. Yesterday (10 November) Apple announced a new series of Macs, the G3 Macs, with very fast processors and a very attractive price...for about $2000 you can buy a Mac that smokes a 266 Mhz Pentium II, turning in real world speed improvements of 30-40% faster with compute intensive programs like Photoshop and AfterEffects.
For those of you with bucks to burn they have the worlds fastest laptop (still...;-) a 250 mhz G3.
G3 processor boards are becoming available for all macs with upgradeable processor slots.
Anyone know someplace to get a PowerMac 7200 upgraded to a 7300 or better cheap?
