I'm a doctoral student and Digital Projects Librarian at the University of Arizona School of Information Resources and Library Science. I'm project manager and adjunct faculty for the school's graduate certificate program in Digital Information Management and I teach applied technology and social computing courses for the certificate and master's program. Before returning to the U of A for graduate studies, I served as director of information for a non-profit research organization focusing on education technology and technology curriculum development, as Director of IT for the US Department of Education's Partnership for 21st Century Skills and Vice-President and Director of IT for an education focused solutions provider serving K-12 and state/local government. My research interests include social computing and social aspects of reading and authorship.
