I'm the Communication and Outreach Librarian for the School of Information Resources and Library Science at the University of Arizona. In addition to communications, including website, podcast, and other information support, I teach social computing in the master's program and applied technology and advanced digital collections in the digital information management certificate program. Other areas of specialization include grant development and administration. My academic and research interests include technology in education, taxonomies for learning standards, digital libraries, metadata for educational resources, information literacy, 21st century skills, and the digital divide. I'm former Director of Information and Technology at JES & Co., a 501 (c) (3) non-profit education research organization, and former Director of Information and Technology for the Partnership for 21st Century Skills. I also manage a private consulting practice. Please visit my professional site at http://www.arborverde.com. I blog, very sporadically, at http://brucefulton.blogspot.com. |
