About Me

I am a graduate student and Knowledge River Scholar at the University of Arizona School of Information Resources and Library Science. My interests in the IRLS field include: archives, special collections, preservation of folklore, photographs and languages and gravestone studies.

I am the President of the Society of American Archivists UA Chapter. This is a student chapter of the SAA and our members include students from the School of Information Resources and Library Science, History, Political Science, Women's Studies and others with interests in archives and special collections. Each brings a unique perspective to the work and mission of UASAA. I invite you to visit the UASAA website to learn about our organization and projects.

I am also the Vice President of REFORMA-Tucson. REFORMA is a national organization with a focus on actively promoting the development of library collections to include Spanish-language and Latino oriented materials and recruitment of more bilingual and bicultural library professionals. Please visit the REFORMA-Tucson website to learn about our organization and how we work with the Tucson community.
