I’m an Assistant Professor in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona (U.S), and also a Researcher with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET) in Argentina.
I was born and raised in Argentina, where I earned my bachelors degree in Political Science in 1996 from the Catholic University of Córdoba. In 2001 I moved to the U.S., where I got my Ph.D. in Political Science from Florida State University in 2006.
My current research efforts are funded by The National Science Foundation and CONICET. This research focuses mostly on the management and governance of water, with an emphasis on understanding how policy networks facilitate collaborative efforts among policy-makers. Other research interests include the study of theories of the policy process, communication flows in policy networks and their effect on organizational and individual behavior, and the interactive force of environmental crises and weak formal institutions as triggers for political conflict in local and regional arenas.
