Arizona Quarterly invites the submission of articles offering theoretical, historical, and cultural approaches to canonical and non-canonical works of American literature and film. Our essays are selected for their solid scholarship, tight argument, contextual awareness, and a style demonstrating clarity and grace. It does not consider poetry, fiction, or unsolicited review articles. Manuscripts should conform to MLA style, and be double-spaced throughout including quotations, endnotes and works cited pages. Authors should submit two hard copies and a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Edgar A. Dryden, Arizona Quarterly, 1731 E. Second St., University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ 85721-0014. The journal welcomes the submission of
suitable illustrations. Photocopies are acceptable for first review, but
authors must provide copyright permissions and high-quality glossy prints
or camera-ready reproductions for an article accepted for publication.
