Participate in a research study:
Information for parents and their children

In our research projects, we focus on learning more about underlying factors that may lead to symptoms of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) such as inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity.

Therefore, we are looking for children, teenagers, and their parents who are willing to participate in these projects.

The following children and adolescents may be eligible for our studies:

1. Children and teenagers in the age range of 6 – 17 years who are:

- Restless
- Overactive or Impulsive
- Inattentive
- Distractible

2. Children and teenagers in the age range of 6 – 17 years who do not have any psychiatric, learning, or behavioral disorders.

Participants will be invited for several meetings. These meetings include a diagnostic interview (with the parents, and, depending on the age, with the child), paper and pencil tasks (achievement and intelligence tests), computer tasks, and for some studies a brain scan (MRI). Participants will be compensated for every visit. Furthermore, families will be provided with a report that summarizes the results of the diagnostic interview and the paper and pencil tasks.
