EVENTS OF INTEREST

During April 18-21, both the Renaissance Society of America (Bloomington, Indiana) and the Kentucky Foreign Language Conference (Lexington, Kentucky) featured several sessions on women writers that proved fascinating.

In October, the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures of Texas Tech University hosted a conference on WOMEN WRITERS OF THE SPANISH GOLDEN AGE AND LATIN AMERICAN COLONIAL PERIOD.

It was a tremendous success. REVISTA MONOGRAFICA/MONOGRAPHIC REVIEW has agreed to publish the selected proceedings.
