Dr. Ofelia Zepeda is a professor of Linguistics at the University of Arizona and a recipient of the McArthur Foundation Fellowship. She is the co-founder of the American Indian Development Institute and writes poetry in the O'Odham language. She can be contacted at:

Susan Penfield, Ph.D

Dr. Susan Penfield is a professor of English at the University of Arizona and is a language preservation consultant for the Colorado Indian Tribes. She is also the recipient of a grant from the National Science Foundation and the National Endowment of the Humanities to aid in documenting Chemehuevi and Mohave, two endangered languages.
