As a matter of fact he was. The AP reported the first successful flight by a blind man. Miles Hilton-Barber, a 58 year old man who has conquered Mount Kilimanjaro and Mont Blanc completed his 13,500-mile flight by way of microlight aircraft from London to Sydney.

Frankly we’re not that impressed, have you ever seen the size of a landing strip? All they had to do was point him in the right direction.
