Tuition and fees are made payable to: The University of Arizona. Accepted methods of payment include: Purchase Orders (BIA Purchase Orders will not be accepted), personal check, money order, cash or VISA/MASTERCARD/AMERICAN EXPRESS. It is important to note that all housing payments (on-campus and off-campus) must be separate. The University of Arizona does not does not accept payment for Sahara Apartments. You will need two separate checks (one for tuition & fees and another for the housing cost). All payments should be received by AILDI by June 7, 2010. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Calculating your expenses.

The expenses you will incur while attending AILDI will vary from student to student depending on your choice of classes. This guide will help you calculate your own expenses.

 

1 - Tuition. Choose the tuition fees applicable to your academic level (graduate or undergraduate). Remember that this amount only covers tuition for two classes, excluding books or any related material needed for the class.

 

2 - Application Fees. Choose the applicable application fees

 

3 - Books. The $150-$200 amount for books & supplies is an average cost. Amounts will vary depending on what classes you are registered for. During orientation on June 8, 2009, time will be alloted for the purchase of books. Students who pre-pay will have a credit line established at the UA Bookstore on campus. In addition to books, you can also buy school-related supplies at the Bookstore.

 

4 - Parking. If you are planning to drive your car to the University of Arizona, you will need to purchase a parking permit. You have the choice between a covered parking garage or a Zone 1 parking permit (not covered). The closest garage to the College of Education Building is Second Street Garage on Second St & Moutain Ave and the closest Zone 1 Parking is located two blocks north at Vine & Speedway. 5 - UA Student ID (CatCard) are mandatory for every student attending The University of Arizona. CatCards can be purchased on June 8, 2009 (orientation day). Returning AILDI participants/UofA students can use their old catcards if they are less than 10 years old. Remember to bring it when you come to AILDI! Replacement of cards lost/stolen is $25.00. 6 - Additonal Expenses

Campus health. If you need to see a doctor while attending AILDI, you can use the Campus Health Services. Each appointment with a regular doctor at the UA costs$ 10.00. Visit Campus Health Services website to find out about their services. Remember that this service is only for registered students. In addition, Native American participants should bring all relevant credentials to receive service at the closest IHS at San Xavier Clinic (The Tohono O'odham Nation).
