- SAS Release 9.00 is installed on the U System (ptah.u.arizona.edu and
bast.u.arizona.edu).
- SAS Release 9.00 is also available through a site
license for current versions of Microsoft Windows. Version 6.12 is
available for the Macintosh.
Available SAS Products and Current Documentation
The following is a partial list and description of SAS products
available on CCIT platforms. Some of the more commonly-used Reference
Guides are listed following each product, and may be examined in CCIT
Research Computing Support, Room 112. While these guides were written for Version 6,
they are also appropriate for Version 9. The most current version of the SAS
documentation may be accessed online through your browser at

summarization, file handling, simple descriptive statistics, and report

- SAS/STAT (Statistics) - Performs more complex statistical procedures
