Welcome to the Rig for Large Temperature Difference Effects on Turbine Cooling. We are a group of Senior in the Engineering college at the University of Arizona. For our Senior design project we have been given the task of developing a test rig to help in the design and development of turbine blades for small jets engines and APU’s (Auxiliary Power Units). Honeywell is a leader in APU design and development and will be using the data obtained from this rig for design and development of new engines.
