Hickman Travel Grants

 

In honor of Ann Hickman, our Business Manager and Assistant to the Department Head from 1978 until her retirement in 2007, the Philosophy Department has created a Hickman Travel Fund for graduate students in Philosophy at the University of Arizona. The Fund will award cash grants from time to time to help graduate students offset the cost of travel to conferences. At the Freedom Program's 2008 Current Research Workshop, those Department faculty attending the workshop all donated their honoraria to supply the Fund with its initial endowment.
