The INTERSTELLAR TEACH PROJECT is an interdisciplinary and collaborative model to prepare teachers, supervisors and education specialists with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively assess and educate students at risk in special education and in inclusive settings in high poverty urban or rural schools. In addition to the faculty in the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, & School Psychology (SERSP), this program partners with faculty in the Department of Language, Reading and Culture (LRC) and the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences (SpH) to provide you with unique professional training and experiences. The project offers stipend and tuition waivers for qualified full time and part time students.
