The Project Director and Co-chairs deeply appreciate the efforts of everyone at the University of Arizona who helped make this project a huge success. This study would not have been possible without the commitment of President Peter Likins. The Steering Committee and the University and Community Advisory Boards provided extensive guidance throughout the project. Classified Staff and year-to-year Appointed Personnel at UA deserve a special thank you for taking time to respond to the surveys sent out in Spring 2002. The response rate was excellent: 826 Appointed Personnel (50.6%); 3131 Classified Staff (53.1%); 3957 Total (52.6%).
A copy of the Summary Report, which includes the Executive Summary and Recommendations, will be sent to department heads and administrators to be shared with their employees. The Appendices are available to everyone online. Separate summaries of the Overall Findings for Classified Staff and the Overall Findings for Appointed Personnel have been provided in Appendix 1 and 2 respectively.
